Shortly after coming to Cummings family adventures this past summer, I met a fellow believer and his wife who were planning on moving here to the Island. Having read about the visions that the Lord gave me concerning the judgment that is to befall the West Coast, they still felt led of the Lord to move to Port Alberni.

Catherine and I met these people for the first time in Nanaimo when we came back from the North end of the Island to prepare for the second half of the journey with the cross. Prior to the X-mas holidays, I either got a phone call or a email from this brother who felt impressed by the Lord to invite me up to Port to visit. Upon arriving here in Port, I also met another brother by the name of Paul who tagged along with Joseph and his wife.

A few days into my visit, Paul shared a dream that He had from the Lord. At the time I did not know that he had this dream two days before coming up here to visit. While Paul was sharing his dream, I knew that it was a visitation from the Lord. In a nutshell, Paul was taken into the near future to a plot of land in central British Columbia, and given a personal tour of a 'Place of Refuge, fully developed and fully functional. In his description, the layout of the buildings and the land was very close to the description that the Lord has commissioned me to design. It came as close to a perfect match that you could get! The Lord, in His way, gave me the witness to bring to completion the work that He gave me to do. These are the circumstances that led up to the building of a web site to in order to bring the key players together to complete the plans for the Places of Refuge. After moving here after the holidays, this brother had gone back to the Edmonton area. I was sitting where I am sitting now, when Paul and Joseph showed up at my door this morning. Walking in the door, I got there just in time to sit down and to eat supper with them. What I am about to share with you at this time, is Paul's eyewitness account of his visitation to a future place and time. The hour is late, but the Lord insisted that I share this story with you while it is still fresh. Want this brother brings out is beyond anything that I have witnessed or heard about. I do believe that the Lord is unveiling the mystery surrounding these Places of Refuge. Having heard this story, I now bring it to you that you might weigh it by the Spirit and the Word. Here is Paul's story as told by me in the first person rather than from a reporter’s point-of-view.

Upon arrival, I was immediately given a pair of sandals to replace the running shoes that I was wearing. Looking around, I looked back at the steps I had just walked down. To one side stood a man of rather large stature, standing guard to the entrance of the light. In his hand he held a scepter. Looking at me with his eyes, there was no reason for this being to speak as it was his thoughts that bid me to keep my distance. I knew that no one could get past him to climb up the stairs unless invited by the Lord. At the top of the steps of where I had just come from I could both see and hear a shaft of light. It softly hummed as if alive having the color of margarine. Standing at the foot of these steps, I could see other watchers or gatekeepers standing their post at twelve intervals surrounding this shaft of golden light. Each segment was divided by a short handrail and the steps leading up to the top of the platform were joined together. No one came or left without the consent of those who stood their post. Walking away from the center of this portal, I could see Joseph and his wife, and this other brother who I knew was Joshua although I had not met him. He was clean shaved and didn't have glasses. This other brother who met me at the gate, gave me a warm welcome home as if he knew in advance that I would be coming there that day.

All the men were dressed in the same two piece apparel that was comfortable yet not restricting. The woman had long hair and wore dresses made of the same soft white colored material. It seemed that everyone was in perfect health and in their prime. There was no sick or feeble that I could see. Walking away from the central platform, I could see tapestries covering what seemed to be twelve entrances or doorways into the place. The building itself made up the second level of the three story complex. The main floor made up main center where people came to eat, while the top floor was the place to gather for prayer and worship. It seemed that this shaft of light went all the way through the center part of the building from the bottom upwards. The mid section was strictly off limits unless you were there on the Lord's business. I was surprised to see my father and my sister's two children at this there. They had already passed on, but somehow they were here, and yet I knew that this was not Heaven. Everything seemed to radiant with this light that seemed to come out of nowhere.

In my tour of the area I never did get a chance to sit down and to eat being too busy touring the place. It seemed strange thought, that I saw every color of people there: Blacks, Whites, Chinese, every nationality. I was wondering how this could be, as the inhabitants here had little need to go out of the community. Everything was here. Wanting to explore the area outside of the twelve gates that surrounded the place, my guide told me that I would not be able to find my way back unless he went with me. He said that once you go out through the gates, that you would no longer be able to see them. All that was here was hidden from the outside world. The gates themselves were made up of two exquisite pillars, with two huge doors that had a rounded shape at the top. Two large angels stood guarding the gates standing next to the pillars. Inscribed into each one of the doors looked to be an opened bible engraved into the wood. Like two tablets set into the door itself. On the right hand side of the one door was embedded a huge key. What intrigued me was the image of a dove or an eagle that sat perched on top of the pillars. The gate itself was wide enough that you could drive six cars abreast through it. Standing outside the gates, I could see a handful of people milling about, but it was like they could not see me. Going back inside, I saw some sheep grazing about the perimeter.

Continuing on the tour, I got to see the storage facilities in the basement of the main complex. The carrots were as long as the lower part of your arm, and as big around as your fist. All the food grown in the surrounding gardens seemed to be blessed and full of abundance. Connected to the building that I had just come out from, there were six walkways that went in six different directions. These walkways were more like above ground tunnels with the outside walls made of concrete. The roof sections were made of a transparent material, like some kind of plastic glass shaped to form a dome shaped roof. While walking inside one of these tunnels, I could see these little golf carts coming and going throughout the complex. Looking through the roof, I could see all the plants and vines that covered the outside of the walls. All the shrubbery, gardens and vines, and trees served not only as a food source, but also to cover most of the buildings, giving the place the appearance of paradise. The corridor at the half way point had double doors that swung out. This made it possible for these carts to go about the task of gathering and delivering food.

These corridors seemed to extend about a city block in length, where they terminated in a T. At this junction, these corridors split going to there separate destinations. Each one terminated at a central building that made up the community center. Here I saw both women and the men involved in sewing, quilting and the like. Everyone was busy doing something. There seemed to be no facilities for eating here, as everyone ate in the main area. It was apparent that the children were gathered for the day for their schooling if you could call it that. Everything and everybody seemed to have a peace about them that I had not seen before. This particular building covered an area of several thousand square feet--much more floor space than a conventional home although somewhat round in shape. Out from the center of this complex there were other corridors leading to adjoining structures within a stone's throw of the community center. If you ever looked at the picture of a space station with the spokes going out, it was something like that, except the outer buildings were designed primarily for sleeping.

Part of my tour included looking at how the bedrooms were set up. From where I stood just inside the doorway leading to the central hub of the complex, I could see two twin beds, one to the left and the other to the right. Each bed had drawers built underneath them that pulled out. Three to each side, with one set at the end. On the outside of the wall between the two beds, were windows that slid to the left and to the right. They kind of went right into the walls. Below the window was a long table that served as a desk and night stand, with two wooden stools set off to the side. Upon leaving, I could see two corner units for putting stuff. It seemed that the room was about 16 ft. across at the front, and tapered down to about six feet or so at the entrance. These two clusters of buildings made up the termination points of the arms cross. At the junction, another corridor continued straight ahead to form a third cluster. This pattern was repeated six times in six different directions from the center forming the shape of the Star of David. The thing that impressed me the most, was the atmosphere of prayer in this place. It was not like the churches that were dull and boring, but filled with a life and an authority from the Lord.

When visiting the prayer center within the main sanctuary, it seemed that it was more of a military center, a place of strategic command post. On the outer walls between the windows round about the outside, I could see detailed maps of Canada and the world. Various places were marked with pinpoints of light that you could see. I did not know the meaning of this, but I could sense that this place was a place of intercessory power that I have not witnessed before. During my visit there, I did not see one vehicle coming or going from the properties, although many people were coming and going but not by earthly standards. It seemed that this place was some sort of way station--a portal or gateway for people to come and go about the Lord's business. The entire area outside the buildings and tunnels were unsurpassed in beauty. The atmosphere was charged with the breath of Heaven. Life was simple yet pleasant. All needs were met. There seemed to be no aging or sick. The shaft of light in the center of the main complex seemed to be the source of life here. When I first arrived, I tried to walk back up the steps leading to the light, but could not. The Presence of God was so strong, that restrained my feet from even taking the first step. This venture of mine may sound strange and far out, but nothing has been make up or fantasized. I am only describing what I saw and witnesses. Waking up from my dream, I wanted to go back.

End of Visitation
